The ‘Future Nature’ garden was dismantled and transported to Chelsea where it was reassembled over ten days. The design promoted the idea of using salvaged materials in a way that anybody could replicate in a small urban space; a roof top; part of a school playground or workplace. Notable features of the final design were: paths made from recycled slates; a tall ‘creature tower’ made up in simple cubic mild steel frames; and insect towers that only weeks before the show had been part of an industrial fence.
